In our previous newsletter we announced that series fans can also expect additional compositions from Square Enix composers Naoshi Mizuta (FINAL FANTASY XI: Vana’diel March) and Hitoshi Sakimoto (FINAL FANTASY XII: The Dalmasca Estersand), as well as featured vocalist Susan Calloway singing FINAL FANTASY XIV: Answers and FINAL FANTASY VIII: Eyes on Me.
In addition to this stellar performance, fans have a great lobby event to look forward to! Running from 6:00pm-8:00pm, and again at 10:30pm-12:30am (before and after the concert) Square Enix have THEATRHYTHM FINAL FANTASY game stations setup throughout. You’ll need the practice because at 6:50pm and 10:50pm (approx.) two THEATRHYTHM FINAL FANTASY high-score tournaments are taking place!
Think you know those tracks by heart? Test your know-how and your rhythm reflexes on a single pre-selected song from THEATRHYTHM FINAL FANTASY with a total of just eight finalists in the Final Round. Square Enix will be giving out PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles as well as other prizes. The entry is limited to the first 64 attendees who register so sign up early and get some rounds in to stay on top of your game! Members will be on-site to capture this exciting competition live, so keep an eye on Square Enix Live through USTREAM.
We have more events for everyone to enjoy including a FINAL FANTASY themed photo booth with pictures uploaded to the Square Enix Facebook page, a variety of FINAL FANTASY and Distant World merchandise on sale including a new 25th Anniversary Chocobo plush and more! Plus all attendees will receive a free, limited edition poster and have access to the Square Enix Members group for discounts on select FINAL FANTASY titles.
Don’t forget, exclusive to this event, there will also be an intimate FINAL FANTASY chamber music performance at 6:40 in the opening lobby which includes Nobuo Uematsu (piano) and Arnie Roth (violin) performing a duet rendition of FINAL FANTASY VI: Dark World as well as a new medley of Chocobo Theme Variations.
