I wish American bands put more emphasis on the bass. It's always almost entirely drowned under everything else and has a dull sounding piece when it breaks through. :<

Ew, what? Americans use waaaaaaaay too much bass. I can't go five blocks without hearing some buzz and thump from someone's shitty stereo who decided to put three mega-woofers in the back of their El Caminos. Sooooooo sick of bass. Just like surround sound systems for television. I don't need to have my house vibrate because the sub-woofer (even though it's turn all the way to the lowest setting) doesn't know what the word "discrete" is. I'm all about the treble over here.

Oh, absolutely. If a band actually uses the bass guitar as a melodic instrument rather than a thuddy sludge, I actually don't mind it. You know who utilizes the bass pretty well? If you were going to guess Dave Matthews Band, you'd be right!

That's alright. I'm pretty sure that still applies. Most bands have abandoned the melodic bass, but I guess I don't have a frame of reference because the only music I listen to from overseas is stuff like Black Sabbath. Also, I promised pics, so Thanksgiving Pizza part 2, go!

It's a little out of focus, but that's partly to do with my crappy phone camera. Also, it was intense heat because I was cooking it with all the burners on in my grill. Furthermore, there was a lot of smoke due to the mesquite wood chips I had in a smoke box in the same grill.

Leftovers from yesterday. On that bad boy I've got turkey gravy, corn, turkey and mashed potatoes. It was really good when after it was done cooking, I put some cranberry sauce on top. I can't explain it, but it was awesome. Thanksgiving on pizza dough, essentially.

In most department stores and retail stores in the US, they start to play Christmas music the day after Thanksgiving. Also in some restaurants. Just sayin'
