Something I was always confused about with the Gundam universe.

Was the Tallgeese an upgraded Leo, or are the Leo downgraded Tallgeese?

Tallgeese was too expensive so they made Leo instead

Leo was a downgrade. Tallgeese was too powerful; tended to kill it's pilots when pushed anywhere near it's limits. Zechs and Otto both suffer internal injuries early in the series because of it.

Tallgeese was then kept in storage and used as a base to develop the Leo, Aries, Wing Zero, and a bunch of side-story units like the Hydra Gundam and Gundam Griepe.

Seems they reused the same mold as the original Aile Strike kit for the Strike itself, but the backpack and equipment seems to have been completely redone; the wings on the Aile pack are way bigger than the one I have.

In the earlier (less clear) pics, it looked like the Wing Gundam with the Buster Rifle and shield, but now that we have a clearer look at it's body shape (and head, wtf), I'm saying it's not an After Colony suit of any kind. :I
