Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

I stopped playing FF 2 years ago, was thinking about coming back as a casual gamer but I deleted my original charater, gave away all my gear and gil of course (about 40 mil in gil and 5 in gear only because I sold all of my big gil items when I heard the lvl cap will be increased) and I can't see myself starting back at lvl 1 ; (

:-( I hope you feel better now Minefield! That sounds like it really sucks.

It still hurts kinda, but I should be fine to work still, no big deal.

We have the most delightfully delicious cold spell going during the nights now. Still up in the 80's during the day, but nice and cool at night. And the Olive Garden has pumpkin cheesecake back again! So so so yummy! *nom glomp munch swoon*

Studying vocab and gym = naked hehe

weird dream #XXZ03

there was this small (western?)village at the base of a small mountain(?) people where just walking around, even a guy with a red cap, red shirt and blue overalls, along with a guy in green shirt, green hat, and blue overalls, both with mustaches....
On the Salon, a cowboy (sheriff I think?) starts collecting people's gold and silver coins... some people hesitate, but then are reminded by the Sheriff that it is to save their town.
When that is done, some people (me included) escort the Sheriff out of the Salon, and out of town. After getting some distance from town, we arrive to some staging area, where we are received by people wearing black special ops outfits, telling us how we did a good job, and that we should ditch the cowboy outfits, changing into an Ops uniform. Once suited up (minus the Sheriff), we hurry into this platform with flashy lights, it does its stuff and sends us off to a different time... it was a Time Machine, a Gate we crossed over (not sure if it was the past or future).
We start running back, in direction where the town previously was, but shortly we where attacked by a large group of Orcs or Ogres...
Assault Riffles blaze at the monsters, some men get left behind trying to hold them back, but are easily overrun. eventually we see the place where the sheriff needs to arrive with his package and he dashes to it. I turn back and see an Orc/Ogre chasing me and.....

yesterday was the 9/11 spam on facebook... today it's the 'new' iphone ***spammed on facebook...


I was ok with the 9/11 stuff (I may have bitched about it) but dear god... I really don't give a flying *** about apple anymore... that whole damn company needs to burn to the ground :|

The only things I remember about my dream last night are zombies, some kind of underwater place, a forest and I was having my throat slit when I woke up >.> It was all realistic and ***too so needless to say I was a little on edge while getting up.

a had a dream about ... I dunno rofl... some new video game was out and they wanted me to playtest it ... it consisted of janitorial work :|

well... That's not happening anytime soon lol... They recently became the most valuable business in history...

I mean yeah of course they have money.. they sue small companies over pretty stupid reasons... I think over the past few months i've seen a few *** lawsuits from them. I still can't figure out why people like them, I had a apple laptop... didn't work worth ***... have an iPod... use my phone for MP3 players now cause my ipod freezes up and seizes up over nothing... even my GF who has been with an iPhone for years is switching to android ... she's sick of her phone *** up over and over.

Apple's company valuation is at about $619 billion... it recently beat out microsoft which was about $3 billion lower than that back in the tech bubble... Apple is still thriving during hard times... What's crazy is some people are saying it will rise above $1 trillion soon enough... personally I don't think that's going to happen and if it does it's just going to end up being another bubble that pops... but it's definitely a company that's not going away any time soon...

As for sales they did $39.2 billion ($11.6 billion in profit) in the second quarter alone... sold about 35 million iphones... They also sold 12 million ipads... 4 million macs and 7.7 million ipods... all but the ipods were an increase in sales... and keep in mind this is just for the second quarter of 2012....

Edit: as for the lawsuits... As I've stated before... it's not really about the money generated or lost from the suit itself but the fight for control of patents...

The only reason people buy a ton of Apple products is because the *** things keep breaking so easily lol

whatever the reason may be... people do keep buying them... so even if they break they must be worth it to them to get another...

Edit: I'm not really an apple guy myself but I've had my ipod for 3 years now without incident...

GF has been through like 7 iphones (warranty replacements, she won't buy another one)

I've been through 2 (3 soon...) something is *** up with the board each time.




depends on if it's a warranty replacement or straight out buy... I refuse to give them more money... the only reason I've been through so many is I make sure to *** enough for them to straight up send me a new one...

This is something like the xbox thing... put out a crappy product... force customers to buy new ones over and over again... I just think it's wrong... make a good product... or stop and rethink what you are doing... cause making products aint your think.

I still have a working 1st Gen Ipod Mini and a working 5th gen Ipod, scratch and stuff, but feels really durable as of now.

I've never had an issue with my 360 since I've had it either...

I honestly haven't either (I mean I have been through 3 ... but for other reasons lol)


But i've know people that have gone through like 20 - 30 of them (no joke) D:

I known people who have gone trough a lot of 360's (and ps3's) but you have to wonder, how do hey care for their system? do they abuse them, keep them in poor ventilated areas? pile stuff on top of them ? use a surge protector ? do they even turn it off ?

my 360 has been through hell and back ... i'm surprised it's still running to be honest :| I keep it well ventilated, surge protector, clear of debris.



But then again I haven't turned it on in probably 5 months so ... yeah :|

boot it up once in a while, even if it is to turn on-off. inactivity can also hurt it ?
