D: why you say that?
The ammount of CP needed to level roles that arn't their main 3 is high enough with small enough stat bonuses to compleatly cripple the character the character compared to sticking to the main 3 untill they cap in the post game.

Game gives you a bigger penalty from switching "preferable" roles so better get grinding!

I'm gonna give XIII another shot when I get enough free time. For the sake of efficiency, what are the main 3 class for each playable character?

its a final fantasy game.. wouldn't be the same if there wasn't a grind >.> He already knows the -ga spells and I really only use him as a ravager.

It's basically what they start with before you can open up the entire crystarium or w/e it was called. At least I believe anyways.

Lightning gets com rav and medic, but she should never be a medic outside an all medic set

I use Light as a MED while the others buff up. (bosses only mostly)

I used Feng Vanille Lightning and I used Lightning in a med/med/sent set for the adamantoise spamming. It works well actually.

Once your hp gets higher she won't be able to handle it since she only gets cure and cura. With the right build shes hands down the strongest rav in the game too.

Edit: No tri disaster till the post game really hurts her as a choice as well.

It also works with Vanille's death trick. If you cast Death, during the animation switch to Vanille's level 5 COM, (and genji glove) she can do 999,999 damage.
Didn't know about the death one... pritty sure light's is as intended since shes the only character where only 2 of her 3 main classes are fully functional, so makes sense to me atleast that she would have an edge that way. Might also work with hopes ability but can't remember.

Mnk is my best geared job. Though brd and drg are catching up (barring weapon). When I hit 50 leatherworker last week I hit 4 double melds in a row. One being a +29 Pie gryphonskin tunic. I was sooooooooooooooooo happy that I made myself a 3M+ body 1/1
