I just like the taste of mozzarella. Though it does leave my mouth feeling a bit dry.
I would have at least used pizza sauce, but I don't even have any of that right now.
As for what Slip said... Ranch is disgusting. (Ranch flavored chips are the only one I'm okay with.)

Generally I agree that ranch is disgusting, I only like it on a few things (ranch chips don't count as ranch as far as I'm concerned) on cheese sticks it's only used VERY lightly. Like just 1/4-1/2 inch up for half the stick or so.
As for dry, yeah I can't do that. I can get one, maybe 2 sticks down without any sauce on them, after that the idea of eating another makes me wanna hurl.. Not sure why, I love fried foods and I love the taste of cheese sticks on their own. Even a minimal amount of ranch counters this and it doesn't really alter the texture so that's not it.
