I went and saw the movie Savages. It was good, funny.

I saw Ted. It was pretty much as dumb as I thought it would be. I got a few chuckles out of it, though. And I'm not into cocaine or crazy parties but... I would totally party with Flash Gordon.

So what is this Savages you speak of?

Saw The Amazing Spider Man...while good...I dunno if it was any better than the first one which was kind of a disappoint because if you're going to remake something you better make twice as good because I really really liked the first one.
I already saw all that with Tobey :( I'm sure the sequel will be more exciting because you can't just ignore the creation story..thats just a hurdle you have to get over to get to the good stuff.

It wasn't a bad movie at all and my 12yo sister really really liked it I just feel like I've seen it already before and I've had 10 years to absorb TobeyMaguireasSpidey. Also its only been a few years since the last spider man movie...too quick to reboot. The effects haven't even really advanced.

My only real complaint about the movie was I wanted more aerial tricks and acrobatics and there wasn't that much :/

the amazing smiderman isnt a remake of the first spiderman that toby mcguire did.

its the other story of spiderman :/ which confuses people since they made 3 spiderman movies already.

I know its not a remake of Toby Mcguire spiderman...but it is a spiderman reboot. So we got a very similar product. Also I said the sequel should probably be better because now it is free to go in another direction as they got the intro out of the way.

eh its a relaunch more than a remake. Marvel felt the Sam Raimi trillogy didnt live upto the expectations of the public <they even said 3 sucked lol> so they went with a more darker relaunch alla Batman Begins. if i can find the article again they mentiond the Venom movie whould tie into the new mythos and modern approch.
