I wish I could justify getting the really big good hunks of meat, but I'm really the only carnivore in this house, and as such, I don't think I can justify a 40-50 dollar hunk of meat. I end up picking something that is above 'acceptable' but still 'cheap' (of course that's speaking in relative terms).

I'm a true omnivore;I don't have a real preference towards either.
This house is filled with omnivores who are practically herbivores.. I'm the exact opposite. I can get by without any vegetables and be happy, but I refuse to eat almost any meal that doesn't include meat. The few exceptions would be like Ramen noodles and other piddly stuff like that. I can eat those and be relatively happy without meat, but I can't live off them. After 2 or 3 days I'd rather starve than eat another.
You know if it really came down to it.. I think I'd rather eat rat than live on vegetables.

only cost us about 35 bucks for the meat and ... uh ... whatever for the smoker (he said he spent a little over 400 bucks yesterday on stuff so ... yeah :|)
all in all it was worth it lol.
I thought it looked a little bit too new lol.. I just barely got my grill a month or two ago and it looks used as hell... Although I do BBQ on like a weekly basis (sometimes even on a bi-weekly basis.. Meat cooked over open flame just tastes so much better).
Someday I'll have an actual smoker. But I can still smoke food fine with just a regular grill. Just can't do as much at a time because you have to separate the direct heat and food, which basically means pile all the wood up one side in as narrow a band as possible and put the food on the other side as far away from it as possible, using a foil barrier if necessary.
