You wont exceed 8.
But if you're okay wth blowing money you can get 16. Hell I got 12. Never used more than 5, but meh.

Haha okay, I'm just checking. I'll just get two four gig sticks so I can take advantage of dual channel. I'm currently running on 4, and I can get relatively decent headroom, so I can imagine 8 would be perfect.

Bummer, all the PCI-E 3.0 video cards are starting at about $400. I might just have to settle for a GTX 570 or something.
