Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
how come this, cops beat homeless man to death, doesn't invoke the rage that other high profile crimes recently have?
Probably because it involves a homeless person. People around here would rather ignore the homeless. :/ Some assume the person is into drugs/booze/too lazy to get a job so they don't pay any attention to them. I dunno though :/
(tried not to ramble there >.>) I recall there being a bit of discussion on the matter back when it first happened, but I agree, not nearly as much outrage as other, similar incidents have had.
Narshe, sadly, seems to have the right idea. Had it happened to someone walking home from work, or even on a late night walk, I don't doubt that it would have had a lot more airtime in the news. It's because he was white.

wtf my night..almost 2 hours late getting off work (oksomewhatexagerationlol)
I hate being new some place and not knowing wtf Im doing. So what makes a good roommate?
I'm ditching the current ones. Better than having been there for a while and not knowing wtf you're doing!

Doesn't interfere with your sleep schedule. Cleans up after him/herself. Warns you when there's no more toilet paper. ... And, I just realized it's pretty much the same as living with my ex. yeah there was a few people always saying we would have a static and to get on at a certain time. then slowly all of them just poofed D:

And, I just realized it's pretty much the same as living with my ex. also, they clear the microwave screen and don't let it sit with 1 second remaining. and also, if they use the last of the bread or paper towels to pull out a new loaf or a new thing of towels. It drives me nuts when people open the microwave before it beeps. :o
I do not, however, just leave loaves of bread lying about all willy-nilly. It goes back in the space above the oven that's reserved for all my bread and buns. They pay their rent which is good, but they're slobs, loud, and inconsiderate.
I'm trying to weigh pros and cons, but seeing as how I consider them just people I live with, I want to move in with people that become friends rather than just roommates. If you'd like roommates that end up as friends, I'd say look for people with more common interests, while still having jobs (because a roommate is still pointless if they're not paying their bills).
At least if they're friends and sloppy/messy, you'll be more likely to overlook it. Or you'll get lucky and have one of those neat-freak friends who willingly vacuums/washes dishes everyday because they think no one else can do it right. It goes back in the space above the oven that's reserved for all my bread and buns. we store our loaves in the freezer (cause we buy in bulk and it will mold)..so somebody will use the last of the bread or be especially mean and leave the ENDS OF THE BREAD..and wont pull out a new loaf. I don't know if you've ever tried to quickly thaw frozen bread...its nazty..you have to let it thaw on the counter over time to get it back to its normal consistency/taste. That's what I'm aiming for, but easier said than done. I'm so flippin' sick of moving. I haven't proper unpacked since I moved here which was 3 months ago. Kujata.Daus said: » Oooh, yeah... An ex of mine did that (well, her family did)... Damp/thawing bread is gross. I remember how weird it was the first time I saw them put bread in the freezer. I only buy a loaf at a time because odds are I'll never get around to eating it before it molds and I go to the store again anyway. Unrelated, why am I being advertised with this...? *yawn*
I love the smell of drama at 1:30 in the morning! :O
