Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
Why is that frightening? If you could go on with your existence and not worry about it, there would be no change. The only thing that makes a difference is you dwelling on it. (Is this coming off as rude? I hope not.) I just mean, regardless of it being true or not, things will continue on as they were. Unless you change that. Does that make sense? I'm tired. :3 It just seems to me that inside your own mind, it could be quite cozy if you allow it.

lol Solipsism or not, that would be true!
So ignore ones thoughts in order to gain the bliss that is in the ignorance of not knowing the truth. This does make sense; since in the end there is no way to prove solipsism true or false and even if one could nothing could be done about it like you said.
I don't pretend to be a people-person (*** that, I hate people, too much stupid), but the idea of being the only one that's real and the possibility of crushing loneliness is pretty scary to me too.

I'm inclined to agree with the "Ignorance is bliss" figure of speech, but once you start not being ignorant, it's really hard to go back and you get angry at all the other ignorant people. XD

It's not so much about being ignorant. I mean, I suppose you could call it that. But today, you and I are having this conversation. Tomorrow you know that, in reality, it was "all in your head". So what does that mean? In your reality it still happened. So is it really an illusion or still a reality? If it was all you knew and suddenly it all made sense, why is that scary? If it is an illusion, the illusion can still be there if loneliness is your biggest concern.

Good points though. I think the type of loneliness I refer to is more than just a mental capacity, even if there exists the possibility that what you see with your eyes or feel with your hands isn't real.

I suppose it has more to do with the ones that I care for and love. The thought that their reality is just an illusion may diminish the way I feel for them. Though it may not since the illusion would always be there as real as it always was. I would just have to come to terms with it in that scenario. Also who's to say that I'm not the fake one and once whoever it is that is truly alive realizes this my existence wouldn't just end.
There are a lot of unknowns with this ideology and being a human we are pre-programmed to fear that unknown. Though we're also forced to overcome that fear by our curiosity in many circumstances.
