i just went to la theine and sat at briareus until someone gave me the staff skill headpiece. i dropped my old sword merits and did staff. i now have sunburst on dnc/war. YAY?!
Had my goldsmithing sitting at 51 for like 2 years now so gunna see if i can get it up more... The higher skills don't seem so bad any more since abyssea pumps out the mats quite a bit bringing the prices down.

yeah. as useless as staff skill is at least i can now handle all non nin/sam red procs other than gwrd scythe and polearm (till i get a pitchfork!).
I still rage at myself for droping my pitchfork right before abyssea came out... I heard it wasn't at the holloween event last year.

I didn't even think of the event guy at the time, was just cleaning house. Good to know it was at the event last year though.
I'm gonna need to clean out my mh soon. I'm almost done mnk and I'm thinking of trying something new and going with a mage type job. Debating on whm, blm, or brd. :/

It depends on the person. Most of the time if I call someone sir, they don't care. I call people sir indiscriminate of age or occupation. But a lot of times when you call someone the female equivalent of ma'am, they will ask you not to because it makes them sound or feel old. Girls are just over-sensitive about their ages, for sure!
