Oooooooh interesting... I'll finish black then decide if I will continue, that's interesting though a direct sequel hmm not sure what to make of that yet.

Is it just me or do those Pokemon look like mismatched disasters. >.>;

Yeah, I'm curious on why they did that. I've heard lots of bashing on it though, due to it being a sequel.

Spath, the pre-story of White 2/Black 2, apparently, is in the original W/B when the NPCs are talking about Kyurem. I don't remember it though, because I spammed the text =(

Yehhh I honestly think Black/White should have been the last... the pokemon are beginning to look a bit over the top and there is not much more to offer from the games... unfortunately though, it's a huge money maker, so Nintendo will squeeze every last dollar from the series, even if that means churning out game after game until it's reputation is left in tatters ala SE and Final Fantasy.

I still love the FF series...

Edit: will they ever make a non0handheld pokemon game again? last one I think was for the n64...

I loved it from 1-9.

The earlier games with made to be magical and quirky. The new generation games are made to make as much money as possible. FF13 was the most successful selling title of the series and it is a crime to even rate it with the like of 6,7,8 even though 13 is a great game.

What I'm saying is that SE don't care about making great stories or great games anymore, they just want to make as much money as then can from the fanbase because good or bad, fanboys will buy it and rain compliments regardless. Proof is the departure of Nobuo, the ridiculous new metal and rap music, a sequel to 13 instead of a new concept.

n64 is pretty far back. o.o I mean they had like 3 titles for the Gamecube alone, that's without looking into more recent titles.

Most of them are pretty sucky and never made any impact, most likely why they are largely unknown.

What Pokemon needs is an online game or a complete world where all the regions are interconnected.

People say this every time a new Pokemon game comes out, and have since Pokemon 2 was first announced (which later became Gold and Silver), yet GameFreak always manages to deliver new content that makes the new games worthwhile.
Just felt like pointing that out. :|

I disagree with this because of the direction of FF14 (especially if some of the rumours floating around are true), but that's all opinion anyway.

This was the first semi-recent console game they made that came to my mind when you asked. I think there was a sequel or this was the sequel, or some ***, as well. I don't think I heard many people talk about it to be honest though so it's understandable that it went under the radar.

Gold/Silver are not direct sequels, they are more like updated remakes.

Regarding FF, I meant the single player games, FF11 and FF14 are different animals being MMO.

The problem with the going back to the old FF model is that you've got rival WRPGs that are the current flavor of the month and the JRPG is in decline.

People want games where your choices matter and this just wasn't the case with old SE installments. Games like FFX were completely on rails, the old villains had all the complexity of a paper cup and it puts SE in an awkward position where they're obviously in unfamiliar territory trying to catch up with the standards of 2011.

Since these are random thoughts give me a freakin' REAL sequel to Final Fantasy Tactics. Same universe, new story.

Wouldn't count them as remakes as they feature an entirely different story with many different locations.
And seeing as it's a continuation of the Team Rocket story, 3 years after the end of Red/Green/Blue/Yellow, I'd say it counts as a direct sequel.


Ehhh. Type-0 looks pretty badass in terms of gameplay and story, but I'm still waiting on the English release before I actually play it, so you might be right.

Hmmmm interesting morning so far....
I feel bad and I think im burning for it lol
So no work today, since i have an appointment for something....
So outside this small grocery stop, I'm stopped by one of those wandering religious people spreading out the word and giving panplets and stuff.
Usually I turn those people away.... as she aproached me, notice she was bloody cute, and had really pretty green eyes... so she starts talking and offering stuff... her skin was light tone and... sparkly ? So during the convo ( dunno how the heck I kept the convo up ) she pulls out a bible to read a chapter of it.... Fuuuu she gets a lil close since the sun was on her eyes, and as she reads, managed to get a peak under her blouse, sparkly soft milky skin and lacey pearl colored bra.... one of those things of not knowing if to look, or look away.....
We talked a bit more and gave me her panplets and parted ways....
Did i mention she had a shiney wedding ring, and she drove away , with her ( what i assume ) her husband , whose car was about 10 feet away ?

And cant even remember what was said..... or she tried to sell :/
