For some reason, I always liked the blatant colorization of hair as opposed to subtle cover ups of natural hair to in a sense falsify youth. I hate to be so polarized when it comes to one thing or the other, but frankly keep it natural, or go all the way with a color.
Thanks guys. The stylist assured me it would fade to something more subtle and less obnoxious after I washed it a bit. I'm surprised is all, I think. I hope my husband doesn't hate it. :x

I don't think yours is bland at all! Long and dark has always been classic-exotic and beautiful in my book.

Ummm...I think the red tones she used were a little too deep for your natural color. I would be apprehensive too.

This might be the solution if it doesn't grow on you. Red is hard to get out from what I understand, and you don't want to fry your hair getting it stripped to go back to more blonde and strawberry tones.

Oh god no! I'm thinking more along the lines of colors myself...lol
I can't even talk about getting it trimmed without getting the look from Krizz....could you imagine if I shaved it? o.o I don't think so.
I'm really hoping it will die down if I wash it enough. I am in the habit of washing my hair about 3 times a week, and showering with a shower cap on the rest of the time. But I think I'll get some good moisturizing conditioner and scrub on it every day for awhile and see if it just dies down. It's not that I think it looks bad, exactly, just... bright. Really bright!
