The main reason (I think) that people hate Twilight so much is because the Twilight fans piss them off. That's why I dislike it to the extent that I do, anyhow.
I read all the books, they were nothing special. Not my type of story, really, and some bad logic/writing/plot lines. But I never HATED Twilight until a quadrillion other people decided to LOVE Twilight. /blush

That definitely falls under the bad logic/writing/plot! xD Vampires don't sparkle during the day, they are DEAD during the day. Corpses, coffins, rotting flesh, that's why they are called undead.
Rotting corpse + giant syringe to steal my blood = EFF NO!

I will never understand all that Twilight hate/hype.
I read the books, nice lovestory but like Liela said, nothing special. Watched the first movie and that one was just bad, but not worse than other teen flicks .-.
There's many different versions of vampires in literature and movies <.< After all it's just fiction, so why bother if they sparkle in those books lol

lol my dog threw up in my sisters bed.. tonight is going to be interesting when she gets home..
I don't put any energy lol, I don't go on forums dedicated to Twilight trolling and insulting the fans. I state my opinion on what I consider a very stupid idea(way to kill the fascination for vampires)put in a sappy lovestory.

Thing I don't understand with Twilight is why did there need to be vampires/lycans at all? It's a love story, the fact that they are vampires barely affects the story, except for the issue with Bella later in the saga, which could quite easily have been replaced with a number of different backstory. The action scenes, special effects and all do not contribute to what would have been a much better piece of film if it had focused on being a romantic thriller instead of trying to put everything into one.
