I was in the same boat, I was kinda nervous to upgrade also.

If I didn't like it I would have went back to windows xp, and I haven't... if that tells you anything.

have had it 2 days. If xp had compatible drivers for all my ***, xp woulda been on today

I got it because it was like $20-$30 off. I was looking at 20" ones at the most, though I was edging towards a 19". I believe the other monitor I have is 19. It's square though.
