apparently not a lot of gamers are interested in linguistics =/

theres a dragon language translation thread on UESP that i participate in, and its gotten to the point where hardly anyone posts in it.usually the next post doesnt come until my 4th or so edit to my latest post (cant double post at all)

I haven't been there since Codex was dropped as a mod. Not really the reason I haven't been back, that what just the last time I was there.

Anyone know much about scanners?
I need high-res prints without too much graininess and other ugly crap.
Does this depend heavily on the quality of the scanner or would an old all-in-one printer scanner do okay?

Unfortunately I'm a lil behind on this topic. Last scanner I had came with a '96 Packard bell lol

i only got as far as formally studying phonetics in detail, but i touched upon phonology, morphology, syntax, and semantics along the way.

never got into diachronic linguistics (glottogony apparenty?)
