Alfredo is my least liked pasta sauce.. The only time I actually like it, is when it's a shrimp alfredo sauce with some cayenne pepper.. Not enough to be spicy, just enough to alter the flavor a slight bit.

Clearly he's never had my own homemade alfredo sauce. Local milk and greatest tasting thing everrrrr. I also make my own homegrown pesto.

Jarred, homemade doesn't matter, traditional alfredo I just really can't tolerate. But I found recently I do like it, but it needs shrimp (whole ones) and a bit of cayenne pepper and then I can actually enjoy it.
It's hard to explain what I taste in traditional vs the only method I know I like it in.. The closest thing I can say is it's too rich, but that's not it, because just throwing in a handful of shrimp and a bit of pepper doesn't change it's richness..
anyways nothing wrong with spicy alfredo, really great when done right

I already ran out ;__; and it's already a frozen tundra here so no more basil for 5~ months.
