I appreciate them! I used to date shorter guys. Not shorter than me, just not guys in the 6foot range. It seemed as I got older, the little man, big attitude thing came up more often. >.>;

Did you know that old 386/486 are worth $100/lb for scrap now?

I've been traveling around to all my old places I lived at, my mom's house, etc. looking for computer scrap. Pentium Pros have a gram of gold in them. So far I found 2, but I know I used to have like 6 of them.
Wow, really? Makes me wanna go dig up stuff in my grandfather's storage. It's a gold mine in there, I bet! (He worked for NASA, ultimate nerd storage go!)
I've been talking to this CEO of a local computer business and basically the both of us now have gone into the side business of scrapping old parts. Hell pretty much any DIMM, like PC66-PC133 is worth like $70/lb. Even the old ceramic Pentiums are a decent amount, I think like $35/lb.

There's definitely money to be made in it. Gold, Silver, Platinum, and others are all in old electronics if you know where to look and more importantly know who will buy it.

EDIT: and of course copper!
Your old cell phones are worth money too.

Like a few bucks per pound without battery, and then the lithium ion batteries are like 60 cents per pound. I'm so glad I hardly ever threw out any of my old computer, electronics etc.

Nope. I have too many active MMO's and about to add SWTOR to that list @.@ DCU reminded me to much of City of Heros so I never tried it.

That is what it looks like, and I saw my brother play City of Heroes when it first came out. Looked weak

I wanted to try out DCUO but the powersets seemed so basic. Just a primary set and a secondary/"backup weapon" set...that's as far as customisation went (from my view.) :/ So I played Champions Online instead (which sadly had a lot more customisation but not a lot of content.)
