It's that I share my room with my brother and he complains that he can't sleep if I don't shut down, and he has to wake up very early in the morning.

I was of a similar opinion when replacing my 6 year old desktop with a laptop, but so far my Acer 5750g has been super :) it blows alot of hot air when I'm gaming but it's silent all the time. Only problem with laptops are the sucky screens. They are ok but a monitor is so much better.

Red is just as bad.
2 x 200mm red led fans on my HAF 922 case.
Even worse than that though is the Saitek x-52 joystick on high led settings.
So bright Christmas trees get jealous.
