Need some ideas on what to watch! TV shows, movies, etc.
Making a pseudo-Dark Knight character in Skyrim.
Orc or Redguard? Berserker Rage is so powerful from the looks of things. Artemicion said: » Making a pseudo-Dark Knight character in Skyrim. Orc or Redguard? As DRKs are in FFXI, magic will be a secondary and ranged approach while I will primarily be focusing on two-handed (greatsword of course), and heavy armor with smithing.
The only bummer is the transition timing between pulling out magic and pulling out my sword. I wish they had given the option of setting a spell on RB/R1 like it was in Oblivion. PLD is very cumbersome to pull off as well, having to swap out shield or sword in order to get your restoration spell, where in Oblivion it was just a tap of the right bumper away.

Yeah, would be nice if you could still cast while having your weapon out, even if only limited to restoration and alteration. But I suppose they want magic to be specialized in it's own right, thus taking up a hand. Asura.Ludoggy said: » I'll be sure to make a Wallace character too. Adrenaline Rush and Berserker Rage have always been two ends of the melee spectrum. Berserk may double your damage, but Adrenaline Rush (I think) doubles your Stamina Regeneration rate. I'd make a Redguard first and try out the Power, because there's that 5 second delay after you run out of stamina that it doesn't regenerate, and if Adrenaline Rush doesn't do anything about that, it may well be useless.
I've always thought of Redguard as the best One-handed Warrior whereas Orcs were the best two-handed. That's just me though. Double damage and taking half damage gives lots of leg room for taking on a hairy situation in which would otherwise kill you. Though there is appeal in rapid stamina regeneration with two handed weapons, as one power attack more or less depletes your stamina pool instantly. I'll just have to be generous in my level bonuses for stamina. As for aiding magic, I'll likely just have to gear swap with Destruction magicka cost reductions. I've been trading off between about 6 different characters regularly, finally got my BLM character to the point where he can use those third-tier Destruction spells, Fireball, Chain Lightning, and Ice Storm.
FIREBALL MAKES ME FEEL LIKE A GOD, throwing furniture and food around everytime I cast it, it's such a good feeling, lol. Edit: Apparently this is the Skyrim thread now too. >.> Gonna stop talking about it and start playing it. I felt stupid for putting so many level bonuses in magicka only to learn you can have a 100% spell cost reduction with 100 enchanting which I was taking up to begin with.
Normally it's a tall order and high requisite to pull off, but after getting one shotted so many times by keeping default 100 health, it's not such a terrible idea now. I would liken it to the celestial weapons from FFX for mages. Yuna gets 999 MP and you feel so awesome, then you get Nirvana and it has the One-MP-Cost trait.

Perhaps I can find a balance and perhaps use the double enchantment perk to give a heavy MP reduction to all schools of magic instead of two having -100% and gear swapping each time I cast a different school of magic. But gameplay is most fun when you don't willingly overpower yourself, but rather stumble upon awesomeness. *reads Bleach*
