I'm trying to think of interesting recipes for waffles for some reason.
I know various berries, bacon and chocolate chips work well, but what else?

Hmmm, perhaps pecans or macadamia?
Need something sweet to accompany it. Perhaps I could make a sort of cinnamon/brown sugar paste of sorts like you'd put as a filling. See how it works with the batter as it cooks.

Got busy at work but i want to address this...there are tons of ppl who only see in 2-d if their eyes do not work together properly. I functioned like this from the time I was 12->41 because the Dr. didn't prescribe my glasses properly.What your brain can't process it ignores. You learn how to judge distance differently than someone with bi-ocular vision.
A friend suggested vanilla extract in a bit more copious quantity for a consistency in flavor. Perhaps strawberries would be a nice contrast of tartness to bring out the most of the vanilla.

Yal are making me want to play Rift now.. Unfortunately, there's no way I could play 2 MMOs, I have enough trouble with just 1. FFXIV takes priority for me.. <.<

Look in your abilities. resummoning will dismiss it then you can move to interrupt.
