Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
Phoenix.Sehachan said: » You want to spank me? At least do it with your palm <.< That carries risks of cooties! Quote: Actually sometimes I even think in English. It's weird, but it certainly it's rooted in me quite a lot. It's true that it depends on the person I'm talking to, obviously. But the point is that I actually let the door more open when talking in English...I think...it feels...Idk. I can't imagine being bilingual. I think I conceptualise things in images rather than words but language is like... the conduit whereby they become actualised. I wonder if not being English would affect that? Or like in your potential case, would learning another add another dynamic to my personality? Phoenix.Sehachan said: » I want servants! ?
More incompetent FFXI rambling - How does one get windower to work? I want to be able to alt tab for christ's sake!
Slightly Random Thought: If even the higher ups in the military think that a lot of outdated traditional hooie and ceremony/bueracracy are pointless/stupid, and said higher up tells us themself that it is stupid, why do they perpetuate the cycle? Asura.Ludoggy said: » That was the point, Mango >: Field trips are the point! I am bilingual too, Spanish and English.
grew up with american TV, but m family spoke Spanish, sometimes I tend to think stuff in both languages and not notice my thoughts jumping from one language to another. I wonder if not being English would affect that? Or like in your potential case, would learning another add another dynamic to my personality? It kinda sucks. I always forget Swedish words but I know the English ones and I even think in English these days >_> If I'm thinking in words then it'll be a mix of the languages I've learned and not just one. Sometimes I'll even know the word I'm looking for in another language (while speaking Swedish) and then spend like a minute just thinking of the English/Swedish translation :/ (English works here because like.. 90% of Swedes know decent English lol) Asura.Fondue said: » Caitsith.Zahrah said: » The best thing you could do with bacon is used it to wrap shrimp, sharp cheddar, and a slice of jalapeño then throw it on the grill. Delicious!!! had some bacon wrapped shrimp in charleston one time, not sure there was anything unhealthier on the menu but it was definitely awesome OMG!!! It's magical! I had it for the first time when I was maybe ten or so? I try to go down to the coast every summer. I usually come back with two coolers of seafood to stash in the deep freeze. One cooler is usually just shrimp that I bought, and the second is the haul from deep sea fishing and stuff. I still have Red snapper, flounder, and some shark. (My friend caught the shark this year. I haven't brought in a shark since I was twenty-two. I think when I actually manage to get one it's just a fluke. My arms are too spindly.) Cerberus.Savannah said: » Field trips are the point! Most things about emotion are shrouded in mystery, and often the hardest person to know is yourself. If that is how you feel, there is likely some truth in it. At any rate, an interesting conversation >:3 Phoenix.Sehachan said: » Asura.Ludoggy said: » Phoenix.Sehachan said: » Slave sounds like someone forced, a servant is happy to serve me! Bahamut.Raenryong said: » At any rate, an interesting conversation >:3 honestly I dont have a favorite language, since I grew up with both, and use both on a daily basis. My main problem isn't the language skill, rather communication skills and sometimes not say the things I want to say or say other stuff and stuff.

Caitsith.Zahrah said: » in his master bath another language I would like to learn (im at about 5% if lucky?) is Japanese, French or Italian.
supposedly I grew up believing I had Italian blood in me, till I was told my dad wasn't my real dad, so that's a no go. lol ---- wouldn't the right term be Mistress, instead of Master, Mistress Seha? :o Can someone tell me how Horrible Bosses ends (in a spoiler)? I can't be bothered to finish watching it.
Well in that case she was talking of a brother, I guess it's a master and not a mistress xD
Anyway, don't study italian, it's pointless and a waste of energy! French is easy. Japanese is too, except for Kanji...sucks to learn them. Edit: oh yeah, I actually said master earlier. Well Idk, it sounded more natural...mistress sounds like something erotic xD |
