I forgot a lot of FFT and FFXII lore then. Now that I think about it, I think Valendia is mentioned in Tactics too.

Now I have to replay the game to make sure, dammit! D:

Yeah, there's a religion in FFXII called the Light of Kiltia. :O

Vagrant Story takes place in the same world, but a different time period it seems. Doesn't seem to have any direct involvement in Tactics or XII, because it apparently takes place after them.

i once found a timeline that explained it all, theres some stuff, and FFXII is earlier in the timeline, then theres a great cataclysm thats never been part of any games, then theres FFT/A where all the technology from xii has been last since the cataclysm, and then theres a period where the a new religion is founded, leaving light of kiltias behind, and theres a bunch of religious conquests for converting the people

Tactics Advance has always been my favourite, it was such a letdown when in 12's they didn't make all the races playable or used the awesome job system. And then clan concept was lacking the costumization too.

Not in the original, but International had the Zodiac Job System which was a customized license board for each job, instead of the really cluttered one from the original version.
