Zah, how cold does it get in your part of Texas? Cold nights are the best! I love snuggling into thick blankets and drinking hot chocolate or hot buttered rum.

Cold mornings, however... not so much. xD

I love the cold. Especially the 40~60mph in -10 degree weather we get in lubbock during winter :3

Time to snuggle up under the blankets and sleep till I am awakened by the loud screech-like noise that I can only assume is the alarm I set on my phone the night before, before I almost throw it across the room of course.

Random thought for tonight: I am so glad I have these stylish fedoras to wear to school tomorrow. XP

coldest it really gets in ATX is probably mid to upper 20's. Rarely below that. Northern texas, last year was -14

It's just chilly enough to keep the windows open at night. It does make it hard to crawl out of bed in the morning. I'm with you on the cold morning business.

Volk pretty much covered our standard winters, but once in a while we have to endure an ice storm, but that's more of a nuisance than anything.

we hit 0ish a few times in the brunt of winter, the rest of the time is the teens-20s at night/morning/evening and 30s-50s midday/afternoon. the past few years we've been getting at least 1 good snow in, but it usually snows a couple times. i'll never forget the winter i spent at school in the mountains, it snowed every. single. weekend. the entire winter. and it was supposed to be in a temperate valley that never got snow =/

You know I think I discovered why I like autumn, winter and cold weather in general more so than the hot sun and blazing heat.
I believe it's a mental and environmental effect that emphasizes more heavily on more on being warm, cozy, and relaxed at home. Such as being lazy, cooking hot meals, curling up in bed and being sequestered in a content manner.
While hot weather is more conducive to going outside to play and being a part of the day and all it has to offer.
