Make is whoever makes it (Dell, HP, Sony, etc) model should be located on the label that has the serial number on it.

My warranty went out when I put the gooey stuff on. :(
Probably before then actually I've had it almost 2 and a half years now.

If it has a label on it like that with identifying information, you might be able to find it. There are literally countless different types of fans out there though... You'd be pretty lucky to just pick one randomly that looks 'kinda like' yours and have it all fit and work like it's supposed to.

If it were a desktop, I could probably tell you in about 30 seconds what kinda fan it is, because they're all pretty basic, but I've never worked on laptops and have no experience with the fans that are used.

Well I typed in the stuff on the yellow sticker in google images, and that was what came up, I don't know where to buy one.
