You know how most people get around spiders? That's me and roaches :< I'm terrified of them, like full blown panic attack if one gets on me, if I spot one, and it starts to move, I stop to see what it's going to do, if it heads my way, I back the *** up, and keep a distance of at least 5 feet at all times.

but the rats are like, climbing around my closet. and i swear they're doing some kind of morse code crap in my sisters room. or chewing on something. ugh

Probably chewing down their teeth... Rats can chew through most anything and they have to chew on hard ***a lot to keep their teeth down, their teeth grow really fast.

Here's what you do, get a flash light, and just open the door wide enough so that it won't latch if you let it go (turn the nob and pull it out just enough so that it won't latch back) then get something you can use to pull it open from a distance, shine a light on the doorway, and yank the door open.

I guarantee any rat in there is going to go scrambling, so stand up on a chair or something in case it runs your direction, it's not going to jump up on something when it has other places to go for cover.

Then your closet is rat free and you're free to get dressed.

well it's not one with a door knob, it's just the kind like a cabinet in the kitchen kind of door. and ew, i'm not going to wear clothes some rats were crawling around on.

i actually agree. we had frog legs a long time ago and it tasted like chicken. salmon is dry and stuff and i have to drown it in ketchup so i don't taste it
