So guys, I have a really stupid question.
First off, I am awful with computers
(Oh god how did I get here.)
But I have been using Windows XP since I got this computer in '03 or '04 and I was wondering if it's possible to upgrade it to Windows 7, or if there is a better OS then that.

idk how some chicks can have things that big. @_@ I'm more of a C cup kinda guy :3 (Their poor backs, lol.)

that or XP, 8 is looking good so far, but theres about another year before its fully released
Windows 7 is pretty nice, if it weren't I'd have went back to XP ages ago.
How does installing a new OS work anyway?
Download it, install it and restart then it's done?

Download, stick it on a DVD, USB, start it up, install, let it reboot a few times, enter in information, DONE!
Has anyone seen 'Scream 4' yet? Is it worth watching?

@ the upgrading Xp to 7, there is no upgrade for that, you'll need a fresh install.

If you want everything gone, put it on a DVD or Flash Drive, (assuming you didn't buy the OS) format the harddrive it's going on, put the disc/drive in and start up the computer and follow the onscreen prompts.
If you want 2 OS, create a partition big enough to hold the new OS (could find the room you need easily by googling it) and install it on the new partition.
If you want a single OS and all your files kept on the computer, create a partition big enough to hold all the files you want and move them there, format the other partition(s) then follow the standard install procedure.
