my mom thought she had a virus cause she kept getting this pop up telling her to update firefox.
My mom does have viruses, refuses to use Firefox, has about 50 toolbars she doesn't need at the top of her screen. When I tell her I can fix it..."There's nothing wrong with it, I like it that way." >.<

I at least talked her into changing her password, so it's a start. I need to go into her computer and clean it out. She's got that Trojan that convinces you that you're clicking on real anti virus stuff, so she thinks she's got McCaffee installed. I tried to install Windows Defender and she wouldn't let me. When my computer got hijacked that's the only way I could fix it >.<

I don't work in the security community but I'd be willing to bet this is one of the leading causes of infection. From just DYI fixing of peoples' stuff in the past or from what I hear..

She just doesn't listen. She thinks her computer is protected, so she thinks it's ok to click on everything that pops up. I just don't even know what to do with her.

Been watching some gameplay videos for BF3. Console graphics look really bad, and without the added graphical flair of the trailers they released, ehh...I wouldn't even consider them a selling point. (The graphics I mean)
