I think it was Edward VII, whose only crime was marrying a 3 time divorcee. They literally made him abdicate cuz of that. He went on to be a Nazi collaborator so, maybe they got that one right.

Dang, my playthrough went smoothly by the end of last week and got me close to the last leg of this run, but last three days went with a turtle pace.

Also, my supposed cold/flu is taking way longer to heal. It started Wednesday last week, and now Im still coughing 9 days later.

I do noticed my mother and stepfather started to cough similarly. My guess is that it was covid in the end, because normally a flu only get me for a week most, and normally I never get in much contact with my family during that time.

Only covid (or worse) to have me coughing for 9 days and to have such transmission rate.

At least, aside mid intensity cough and sleeping bad a couple of night, nothing else is affecting me.

It just will get me that this week I decided to not work at office, and I will need to make up 16h at office when I get back to normal.

Quite amusing, because the place more likely I contract the covid was either the office or the traveling to office. So, work at office is what made me sick, and because of that, I will have to work even more hours at office

Last couple of years I haven't participated in Nanowrimo's novel sprint because I was either super stuck and/or that website was plagued with scandal. But now the scandal has finally caused them to just shut down and Reedsy has taken over the competition, and even offers better rewards. And more importantly, I'm actually positioned to participate.

I just think Crobat is objectively a strong pick-up for your team.

I catched up with the latest Chainsaw Man chapter.

I must say my perspective of this story changed a little since the beginning.

Im a sucker for the mix of slice of life and shonen/seinen story, and that what it was for the most of part 1 and half of part 2.

I would be pretty satisfied if things just could keep going with baby steps of progress.

But the mangaka is really bold and likes to overcomplicate the story.

Two aspects made the story less joyful (but still quite interesting) to me: the surrealism of part 2 makes me feel like it is an acid trip, almost a lucid dream of story.

Second is that Denji stopped to feel like a fun guy to watch, but a really disturbing person.

I used to sympathize with the teenager gooner Denji, but it is hard to feel the same when all I see know is someone that is the clear definition Of sociopath

I really don't understand what the actual *** the story of the witcher is.

There's a whole *** war, and magical plains of existence and ***going on in the background. Twists and turns and double crosses.

The year long gaps don't help either. Beyond lost. Each season as a season works but the overarching story makes no god damn sense.

(So the porcupine monster from season one is the emperor, who wants to *** his own blood daughter. How did he go from cursed nobody to the ruler of the opposing army. And why is there a war in the first place. And what were the mages doing on both sides. I don't feel like I missed these points but somehow must have)

That show is one of the biggest disappointments for me. I know TV adaptations are hard and changes have to be made, but they butchered the source material to the point of barely being recognizable. It got worse as time went on and went beyond small adjustments here/there to the point they were writing their own story that just doesn't work. Tried too hard to cater to what they thought people liked about GoT and completely failed to maintain the identity of the series.

I enjoyed the first season and some of the second, it just got worse after that to the point I quit watching.

That and Liam Hemsworth just doesn't work as Geralt.

So I watched the man of recaps recap 1-3 and he said yeah, they completely skipped over how dude went from knight of Cintra to Emperor of Nilfguard.

So I didn't miss it. They just yadayada'd past it.

premium has had faster rate for a long time, but like extensions let you do that your self without it, i have an extension that sets the default to x2 so i never have to do it manually, and it can go beyond x4

Long long ago, when cable was in its infancy and tiny, we were promised that when we got pay TV we wouldn't see advertising.
