Funny enough, so young and still receiving a possibly life threatening dmg.

In my personal experience IDK about thinking yourself young but you SURE can think yourself old.
I have known a number of other 1944 models. At 40 some of them were already saying "I'm too old for ... " EVERY LAST ONE OF THOSE IS DEAD. Of the ones who never said that, some aren't in good shape at all but they are still among the living. (Warning, inadequate statistical sample.)
I have always said that age is either a number or an attitude. It seems the attitude is way more important than the number.
Besides, I still get acne. That means I'm still a teenager, right?
