Happens too much with certain people.

Tokyo Ghoul is really taking its sweet time to progress.

Its already two volumes and 17, and i still dont see where this is going.

I personally dont like the use of “ghouls” as a major plot. In my mind, ghouls are generally the stinking and putrid fodder that never have relevance to most stories.

And in Tokyo Ghouls, the major problem of being a ghoul is the hunger for human body. If they could eat anything else, they could like as superhumans.

I didnt buy it that the major problem in this unkverse is the hunger for human body

Speaking of Tokyo Ghoul reminds me, just the other day I was trying to explain the ARIMA algorithm to a coworker, I googled it then hit images to show them What I hoped would be a graph/diagram that would be a helpful visual.



I found this so funny in the moment that I abandoned finishing the explanation, and started explaining why random anime guy came up at the top of the image results.

Thats one of the many algorithms i will be questioned in my test for data science

Todays news:

At least here, allowing or not cannabis commerce is a hot topic to instir heated ideological debates.

One of major "selling points" of the pró legalization is that it will reduce criminality, because the drug dealers are generally the factions of crime here. So, its common common ground that the money coming from drugs sells finance their heavy weaponry, that in turn increase urban criminality in a vicious cycle.

But the news shows that there is a gap between theory and practice. Or maybe there isnt a gap, but there is a understimation of that gap: if the government allow someone to sell weed, obviously not only it will require taxes, but as well will impose many quality standards that will make the "legal" weed way more expensive than the weed made and refined in a clandestine hangar.

In the end, thats just one of many tiresome discussions that really divides society but in the end, really amounts to nothing.

Afania longs for debate like banter, just as the children yearn for the mines.

In California illegal weed shops outnumber legal weed shops about 4 to 1. Taxes, legal requirements, and standards are one side of the problem, low numbers of legal shops due to lack of licenses are the other side.

Not so in Washington state which has higher taxes. In parts of some cities there is a weed shop every block or two.

Talking about Rady………

My wife won't/can't pee unless she's at home. Home girl is literally going to work for 9~11 hours, not peeing the whole time, and then coming home to do it.

Then she forgets when she gets home.

She's got a giant bladder made out of depleted uranium or some ***.

I cant ***outside home but not peeing is too extreme, considering i drink at least one cup of coffee each hour at work.

But maybe thats her tactics to stay awake at work.

Though, while i would hardly feel sleepy when i really want to go to bath, its harder to concentrate too

Its common occurence advertising some product you probably have some contract with.

Those celebrities have extensive social medias. There so much marketing potential here that anyone surely would try to monetize it.

He's not marketing FIF.. sorry, EA Sports FC, or any men's product. It's a fighting game, and the caption alludes to him having some connection to it.

The connection is the money.

Probably he should play it few hours just to meet a quota for the payment, then move on.

Maybe an attempt to bring the playerbase of soccer/football game to the fighting one.

Im pretty confident no celebrity go to their social media and say he/she likes something honestly or just because he express their feeling.

Most likely they dont even manage their own social media accounts. It should be all being impersonated by some team that carefully craft each post/says

On a side note...

1. Seems like Musk is trying to end this conflict and restore X. It took way longer than I thought it would last.

Finally some people will stop bullying me with posts from X.

2. I suppose there is a lot of covids waves during the year without many highlights in news. I saw many people wearing mask in the street, and my mom seems to caught a flu. I also am barely healthy, but with some coughs here and there.

This year is being the worst in all my life in terms of health. My average was like 1 or 2 weeks per year having a flu-like disease, but in 2024 I feel like this metric went like 1 week per month being sick.
