Why don't you like EXP? Feels too slow? No purty Light / Darkness going off non stop? Not enough Saboteur RDM debuffs?

Really? Fookin' REally? The reason you can't get Ark Angel trusts is due to the scene with them standing behind you after the Rhapsodies scene where they tell you to become a god? And you see that scene some every time you get one as a trust? It was like 7 seconds of the cutscene. JESUSSSSSSSS H. CHRIST!

What is really a bother in exping is that exp cap for any IT mob. With rhapsody kis, at most im earning 2k per kill for a 3-4 mins fight.

When the TNL starts to take 30-60k, then youre in for 1lv/hour.

While youre at that, your others shell mates are doing proper parties to farm CP/exemplar. Or doing meaningful content.

While youre trapped in shitty gear (because there is really no reason to improve till 99) and in a trust party, spamming the same catchphrase over and over

The trust "catchphrases" can be turned off in chat/filters/alter ego messages. First thing I do since I can't stand them.

"Feel the wrath of my <<Giant Donko>>... <<Penta Thrust>>!!!"

3-4 minutes with Trusts? :O? I mean, I guess sort of when you're in that awkward starting phase where you only have 3, and not many good ones, it might take that long but like... Word! I was doing chain 100+ with Trusts at 75+.

You doing that thing I've seen folks do where they wear level 10 gear all the way to 99? Does it really hurt to just grab weapons from Sparks NPC at the very least? Could grab the Abyssea 78 sets and level pretty well past that point, they're like the equivalent of decent 75 sets.

Also the TNL only goes up to what was it, 54K at 99 where you sit at 53999 if your EXP is capped.

It feels like going through sastasha on my level 15 lancer not having *** all for aoe and all I get to do is spam one button. At least CPing I have a whole 99 toolkit to play with.

Worse part is seeing people doing stuffs together while you feel out of the loop just spanking shitz with trusts

But Lancer gets to spam 2 buttons! :O! And focusing down one enemy at a time is more newbie healer friendly in XIV.

But nah, I get you. Idk. Unless you're a mage type job mostly in XI, you kinda only engage and mash your WSes at the right time/immediately for most jobs anyway. Like, sure you get more JAs as you go on everything, but they're all on several minute long CDs anyway and largely don't engage you any further anyway.

Guess you're missing pressing your gearswap buttons? Idk. I find EXP in modern XI fairly relaxing. Can watch vids or shows with Sarah while I do it. Trusts take care of most of the work, but I can go full throttle if I engage 100%.

I think the most fun I had leveling on my LP guy was actually on Bard post level 45. Singing the songs and buffing the whole party felt good. Having Magic Finale to debuff also felt good. And I LOVE seeing Skill Ups pop up in the log. They please my monkey brain to high heaven.

After that, RDM, BLU, COR, and BST were all really really fun. On pretty much everything though, I was always out leveling my skill up gain rate. Heck, my 99 RDM is still like 38 skill off capping Enfeebling. Leveling any faster is just a recipe to have to go monotonously skill up while AFKing.

What I find more surprising is y'all got friends/LSes to be missing out on doing stuff with. Across two servers now, I've made friends, and been invited to one LS so far. It blew up(in the bad way), and everyone that's added me to their friends list is only on sporadically (course, I can't get on all the time either so).

I'm here jonesing to do even just Ambu with one other real person.

It's not going to be a huge change and it'll keep the same style. Specifically there's two sections I want to add and at least one I want to get rid of; but the layout hasn't changed in a LONG time and people get attached

I like change if I can see more good to the changes than bad. The main page is definitely focused on a lot of things that aren't as important as they used to be, while other things could be made more prevalent.

Though even if things are made better, if the changes are really frequent and really big, I can find myself getting frustrated. I need to re-learn every process of sending an email at least once a year, and that's not cool. As soon as I figure it out, it's made to be completely different.

Unrelated to that. I'm keeping the box, but shouts are dependent on GW, which isn't something I have control over these days.

Specifically, I'm considering getting rid of most viewed chars/linkshells, expanding screenshots, potentially changing how the front page item list works, and adding another box that holds a secret surprise

After so many RMT shouts i barely pay attention to them.

It'd be cool to see a new home page. Be a little weird after 14 years seeing it like this, but hey, time is supposed to be the wealth of change or whatever.

It's changed before! The code for the Consumer Price Index widget is still in there, just isn't displayed.
