Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?

Phones suck for controls and no amount of attachable bluetooth devices changes that (they suck too). Offline

AR works better. It's about your brain getting confused in the headset and makes you sick, dizzy etc. AR doesn't *** with your equilibrium. Offline

First and foremost, its cumbersome nature made it rather awkward to use. I, too, fell for the allure of VR during the 2020 lockdown, splurging on an RTX 3090 Strix and an Oculus Rift. However, the charm wore off after about three days, and I found myself using it mainly for VR chat and immersive environments, rather than actual games (except for Beat Saber, of course). Secondly, Facebook's (or should I say Meta's) questionable decisions certainly didn't help. The requirement to have a Facebook account just to use the Rift was a major turn-off, especially for someone like me who can't even remember their FB credentials! Third, their ever-changing strategy and discontinuation of support for relatively new products left many of us feeling frustrated and disillusioned. Lastly, the fragile nature of VR equipment made it feel more like a prototype from a subpar company than a revolutionary gaming experience. But let's talk about AR – a sleek, unencumbered alternative that doesn't come with a side of Zuckerberg's overbearing TOS. Its non-gaming applications, combined with AI, are genuinely exciting. Imagine data overlays that eliminate the need for smartphones, smartwatches, cameras, earpods, and even computers in the long run! Add built-in eye tracking, voice commands, and perhaps even telepathic capabilities with future iterations of Neuralink, and we've got ourselves a game-changer. AR is the future, my friend! (edit: stay away from VRC. very disturbing environment) something like the nreal air would already be really nice if the FoV wasn't so narrow
I'm not sure I'd like virtual reality until we got to a point where it was just injected in our brains. It can't be immersive without some form of force-feedback, and the restriction to only being able to move your arms doesn't help.
No one wants to get home after an 8-hour day of work (complete with an hour commute home afterwards) to pick up a heavy headset and dance around like an idiot in their tiny apartment. You want to sit down, pick up a controller, lounge back, and enjoy yourself. I remember everybody thinking the exact same thing nearly two decades ago with the Wii. It's a gimmick, so it's fun for a couple of hours. You can show your friends and family this cool new tech. But at the end of the day, you're always going to end up with a game you can play with your brain (and body) on Standby Mode. I like VR. There are some good VR experiences out there. It isn't meant to replace a normal display (which is all AR really is when it comes to games; a simulated display; a very, very nice display that is way larger than what you'd normally fit into the average living room). It's an alternative and when it works it works well.
Star Wars Squadrons in VR was THE way to play that game, for example. Offline

Battery life is too short to last for a whole game of Deimos. I wish there was a better way to interact with the games than the controllers that we currently have. It can be a hassle sometimes, too. Sometimes you just want to relax and play a game, not be on your feet throwing punches. In the summer it's often way too *** hot to play without sweating your balls off. Q.Q One of me is there, but the Jets are indeed watching a Moogle spin. Also Negan hasn't shown up in the /seal all yet either hmmm/ I like VR and try to get into it, but it always makes me feel nautious and it feels like a chore sometimes setting it up. The VR2 for ps5 was nice so far in regards to setup but it still makes me have a headache.
Well, with this i close my new char first month with 5 ambu sets, being 4 at +2, enough mats for naeg, many jobs at 99, RoV, SoA, bastok missions done.
Admitelly i would have achieved part of it if not resubbing one of my older char. Thats a regret for cheating. My old char spend like 120M on SeMi. That would equal to like 6 months of sparks/accolades. crabbe I have mine being sent with the kraken club soon. The shantotto was kinda ugly, but I like the mandy so far.
growing quite a collection of amiami postcards
During the adventure gratitude i will finally receive my Echad Ring. But... too late.
It would be a wonderful help when i was leveling in semi-old ways. Now that im cleaving the ***out of things, its usefulness dropped near to inv +1. I thought that whole honor thing was big there. Stuff like that makes it make more sense. Hehe, Negan sent me tells last night just before racking out.
