I just didn't think they gave her much of a personality (or Squall either, for that matter). I feel like they did a better job with the supporting cast, though. I think both started very charismatic (Squall being maybe the grumpiest protagonist in the series) while Rinoa started like the average teenage that lived too protected from real life thus being overly optimistic at some points.
In a sense, Rinoa was tailor made to break the Squalls ice. Problem is, after this was done, indeed there wasnt much to develop for both, so they became stagnant for the rest of game. But i do enjoyed them up till there. Like some average romance story. Maybe (surely) not deep but very enjoyable Bahamut.Ravael said: » Pantafernando said: » I always thought her cute tbf. I much preferred the Selphie/Irvine back-and-forth over Squall/Rinoa...but their importance (in particular, Rinoa's) in the storyline definitely was there. But if someone tries to tell me Zell was a good character, I pretty much already know that Wakka was their fav from 10. So many new star wars hot toys announced. Good holiday

I am randomly dropping this here in hopes that Rooks sees it and enjoys it despite the stupidly cynical and sarcastic humour that is attached to it :D

I've always appreciated Yahtzee's reviews. Even when I don't necessarily agree with his opinion, his humour is about the only thing keeping The Escapist going after all these years lol

Seemed kinda rushed in terms of development. The story was so so but the game pretty crude. Predictable story, unrefined tactics gameplay still it wasnt entirely bad. Now debating if i try Arc of the Lad 2 or start Metal Gear Solid franchise My work is thinking about having hybrid home office and at office work. Like 3 weeks at home and 1 at office.
If its something like that, i will finally move on to a new place. I want to live in a place i can setup a grill, and have at least once per week a nice barbecue Pantafernando said: » Finished Arc of the Lad 1. Seemed kinda rushed in terms of development. Worth continuing the series. Jetackuu said: » Leviathan.Celebrindal said: » Bahamut.Ravael said: » Pantafernando said: » I always thought her cute tbf. I was a tenage, and she was a waifu all right. Hey I got no issues with Mama Dincht- she did the best she could while clearly her babby-daddy took off early in Zell's life in hopes of a Blitzball contract. But I really struggle to think of a single FF Monk character that I've found interesting- about the closest I can come is Sabin from FF6, but that was mostly only due to the brother dynamic and Edgar having depth that Sabin could play off of. My friend drop their wallet and someone brought it back to their doorman but with the money gone... Where are the good ppl in this world!

I think its a pretty decent fellow to return the wallet. Normally the cost of dealing with the CC and ID loss is far more troublesome than a couple of bucks (at least, I never bring any relevant amount of cash physically with me). He could just take the money AND not bringing back. Or take the money AND use the CC. Personally I wouldnt even consider the lost money as a tip/reward but as a punishment for being careless and/or not having enough safety measure with something worthwhile. Personally I just take my wallet outside house in two conditions: inside my backpack in the same pockets, or if Im not using a backpack, having a bermuda short with a back pocket with extra cover, making easier to notice in case of pickpockets doing. And finally, limiting the loss in case the event happens: ID is always in the backpack in a different pocket, and the CC never leave home: I use a new card that is like pre-paid card, I deposit some amount of money on it so if its stole, i dont really need to worry with CC or copious amount of cash lost. I think interesting that I daily and periodically check my personal mail box and 50% of the actions I do on it is to simply exclude junk spam from random sites I visited in the past. The other 49% of actions is basically using it to share files between my cellphone and notebook as sending emails is less troublesome than pluging the wire.
Finally 1% is a mail that actually have a meaninful reason to be read, like some alerts from uni, some meaningful advertisement, etc. In an effort to make my media consumption a bit more bearable, I've been trying to click on more scientific advancements and research articles and stuff. But every once in a while it starts to bite me in the butt because my phone will start thinking I'm way smarter than I actually am and show me extreme technical stuff.
My phone just showed me an article with the headline: "New strategy to boost pseudocapacitive performance of micro-supercapacitors". Say what?! If you didn't understand half of those words, don't worry. The article also comes with a helpful picture to describe what it's talking about!
Last book about reading that i.. read mentioned how the current scientific community is moving more and more far away from the average population and just focused in its own tribe, what you can see by so many jargon used.
But difficulty to understand those document is just to understand the dictionary they use but they really dont care in making things easier for “outside” people. But difficulty to understand those document is just to understand the dictionary they use but they really dont care in making things easier for “outside” people. Like, a published paper will show a correlation between a drug's use and cancer cells dying. The journal headline will read "New drug killed 0.01% of cancer cells in experiment". By the time it gets to Facebook the same story will have a headline like "They've found a cure for cancer!!" And that's why I tend to aim for articles that are closer to the source. There's less information lost, fewer opinions getting in the way. The best part of reading any scientific publishing are the criticisms that explain why an experiment might have skewed results.
That's why I'm such a firm believer in the scientific method. Yeah I'd imagine that when your job is to discover and classify new things, you need to make new words or else you eventually end up having a bunch of new things with the same classifications
