I feel like this has been the case since the PS3/360/Wii console generation back in ~2006 lol

I had a problem with my coffe pot ^{Powered by Google Tradutor} impeding my daily cup.

Impressive how it made a difference during exercises, i was super slow this morning, and already bought a new coffe pot to never again have that problem.

Now im wide awake, my brain can function as normal again

Now that both my full-time job and current hobby involve modeling, I can't help but wish my professional software could integrate some of the features from Blender.

I selected a beam that was in the way of a post, and hit "H" to hide it as you would do in Blender. Turns out, "H" is assigned to "Hide all Windows". I had to scroll through the hotkeys just to find out how to "Show all Windows" again. As it turns out, there is no way to even assign a hotkey to "Hide Object", even though the function does exist if you right-click.

And talking to MiTek about features is like looking up your credit score. Any time you suggest a feature or report a bug, they put you and the company you work for lower on their priority list. I've actually been told by both companies I've worked for to absolutely not contact them under any circumstances lol

What? I just mean how Nintendo shifted focus away from competition. In the NES, SNES, N64, and GCN eras, they spent a lot of energy on being the best platform. Since the Wii, they've been in their own little bubble. They haven't cared about being the graphical powerhouse or buying up exclusives. It seems like they couldn't care less about anything Microsoft or Sony are doing now. But back in the day? Absolutely.

I think that's one of the reasons people like the Switch. Its gimmick this time is practical (unlike the Wii or Wii-U), and their games are more traditionally self-contained rather than abusing "live service", microtransactions, or gambling mechanics.

Of course, I haven't bought a console since my PS3. So please correct me if I'm wrong. Or at least elaborate on what you meant by that.

Honestly I think the Switch really took off because it's mad cheap and available unlike basically everything else. Helps that it's the only console with a library of exclusive games though yes
