My wife insists on using those Old El Paso Bold shells that're flat on the bottom. I take one bite and it breaks apart. Wife doesn't seem to have the problem.

i feel ya. family in for thanksgiving, brother comes through the week after, and stays til sunday. i think monday is gonna be a day to rest and finally recharge and i got a call at 7 am that my grand uncle was in a coma from getting shot in the face over night. he passed on tuesday.

at least you can get the christmas tree reese's now though... woo!


sometimes all you can do is focus on your mental and try to self-care as the world burns around you. i've got tons of smoke, tons of booze, and am binge watching stuff while cooking. distractions galore until i can achieve some sort of separation from the intensity of the moment.

Aren't hospital visits like ridiculously expensive, though? I hear it's pretty common in the US to not go for anything that isn't expressly life-threatening. Even with insurance, every time they pay for it your rates go up.

Not that it's any better here right now. Our provincial government kept cutting resources to medical professionals even into the pandemic. It kept happening until we threw the leader out of office a few months ago. But now we're 152,000 (and climbing) surgeries behind, our ICU is overflowing with antivaxxers, and the underpaid nurses are quitting in droves to move to provinces that offer benefits and better pay.

My cousin has ALS and his lungs are starting to fail. But they can't get a respirator for him because they're all in use.

it all depends on if you have some sort of coverage. it could be almost free or bankrupt you. it's exciting =D!

I haven't even hit Garlemald. Then again, I do every side quest as they pop up and can't get in the game to begin with most of the time....

In the best news ever, Netflix just cancelled Cowboy Bebop. An awful adaptation that deserved this fate.

Well that's unfortunate.

Not the cancelling, the being so dumpster tier that it had to be cancelled. Didn't watch it yet.

The best part of the 'Cowboy Bebop' live action is that the discussion about it got me interested enough in it to download the original anime series and start watching it. A new shitty series on Netflix can't take away that the original one still exists; much like Ghostbusters 2016 or Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Uhhhhhggg I've lost so much weight and drank so infrequently that I lost my tolerance lol.

I only had 6 bottles and my whole body feels like it's made of beer molecules. This is... unpleasant.

Bright-side, I puked most of the calories up, so yay I guess.
