Probably some residue gonna be mechanically trapped inside the sponge regardless of boiling/sterilization. Like when my mother had covid and we had two sponges here, on for her dishware and other for mine. Surely after she recovered, probably i would toss it instead of trying to clean it and reusing. After all, thats the purpose of disposable material.
But more amusing is that at least 7.8k redditors spent their time to read that topic and to give it a feedback (positive or negative). While FFXI reddit barely gets a dozen feedback normally.

microwave. i have a sponge brush thing for certain hard to get in to glasses and decanters and when you need to clean it you soak it in water then microwave it.
half day at work and weather is decent. gonna open the windows and do wings. i rarely do wings cause frying at home is bs. too much oil, and such a mess, but some good crispy properly sauced wings are heaven <3.
blue cheese will be crumbled, and skins will be crispy. today is a wing day, a sauce day as the oil temp rises.

Curious minds want to know what people who actually deep fry at home think of them.
i haven't. i have friends who rave about them, but i haven't tried one myself. i haven't even really looked into the technology. is it worth investing in one?
I like ours, haven't tried anything from scratch in it though. I should try some za rolls later for the lulz.

Nah, they take the fat out... and fat IS flavorful, but it's not "the" flavor.
Plus you can eat twice as much because half the cals. That's where it's at.

there isnt any new technology to it or anything, it's just a countertop convection oven. youre not actually frying anything
