The Lions haven't won a playoff game since before the merger lol. But they did last go to the playoffs the same year the Bengals did... Must be because of their large claws don't work well with pig skin.
Friend linked me to some drama on the 14 forums yesterday (gm giving people permanent account warnings over using party finder incorrectly), after reading for 30 minutes or so I was struck by just how out of place I felt there.
That's one game I'll never ever fit in playing, almost feels like going into a second life fan forum or something.

Yeah I'm having a hard time understanding what's going on as well. The original post feels like it's meant to be read by people already aware of the context.

I feel like everyone who got caught knew why they were being caught (i just read the OP and a couple of posts below, im not sure exactly what they were doing but i can guess).
Was that PF used for sexual stuffs, harassing or real money advertisement?

I can see the thought process where your character slaughters npcs and you feel euphoria and that being the reason you escalate to real humans. But it's ***. You can say the same thing about killing npcs sating your desire for violence. it works both ways. it's the person.
Are "we" overstimulated and desensitized? yeah, of course. you're supposed to keep that in check.
They're not even looking at the real problem. Not all murderers have played Call of Duty, but every murderer in existence has eaten food, oftentimes many times in their lives. And as we all know: correlation equals causation!

Nah, the actual argument they're making is:
"We don't want to acknowledge mental illnesses and address their root causes because that would cost money. Video games (and before that, movies, rock music, and chess) are an easy target with few lawyers willing to defend it, let's blame that instead!"
Read some of that 14 drama. I find real hard to empathize the RP people complaining. On my data center, it's like people spamming advertisements for their E-prostitution rings and trying to sell feet pics. SE moved my server to a different data center, and it's just never been the same.

It sounds to me like the current set-up is lose-lose, and that they'd be a lot better off putting something else in place altogether that can accommodate the offended party. Of course, I have no idea.
