Never owned an xbox, but people seem to like that game pass enough to not care about exclusives.
Oh wow India broke all the American records yesterday, with 95,000 new cases of the corona virus. We are approaching a million deaths globally now.
I owned the 360 ages ago but most games on there are for FPS meatheads, so I stick with the PS4.

90% of the games on xbox game pass are 360 games anyways. The biggest exclusives on the Xbox one ended up being Halo 5, gears 4 and 5, and forza whatever. That's why they lost so much of the market share to Sony.
Now, I'm not saying Game Pass isn't a great deal going forward, because it is. But at some point, you are gonna have to release some first party current gen games to justify investing in your 500$ console.

Why do people buy a games console anyway, the games are more expensive, you have to pay for online play (wtf?), you almost never get sales and the hardware sucks. Also Microsoft are terrible, I still remember their total own goal from the TVBOX fiasco last gen.
You can make an argument about exclusives but once you start on that path, you'll be buying all the consoles.
I stopped buying consoles years ago, I have more games from Steam sales than I'll ever get around to play in my library without worrying about the few I can't play on consoles.
Most modern non Japanese made games are total *** anyway tbh.

As such, nobody should really care it's closed.
It's hard for anyone to be totally unbiased these days (the media on all sides fans everyone into that mindset), as such all that was happening is a portion of the userbase of the site was starting to really hate the mods and the other portion of the posters there.
For a fansite like this, having a sub section like that which makes people angry at each other and the people running the site is really dumb.

The reason it's bad is cause some regulars will leave or be banned (when they get annoyed at perceived injustice and then act in a way that does get them banned), the people running the site will see drama and arguing against them and no longer want to keep coming here to update / interact with the community / mod or do whatever they do, and it will create a combative environment.
People (some) who argue against each other in P&R won't leave it in there, they will act the same to those people everywhere else too.

Sure, some topics may happen that brings some P&R into it, but we generally keep that toned down a lot.
Probably not anymore for as long as P&R section is locked.

if someone wants to pay thousands for an elite PC and limit themselves to only playing half of the best games that release each year, that is their choice.
