Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
Gonna be running an FFd20 game for my nephews again this weekend. Since they enjoy combat so much I figured I'd try and make the maps a little more interesting than just two second scribbles on a plain white grid.
Decided to get the floating eyes out of the way all at once since I can reuse the same template. Just got the Ahriman left to do and I'll have all the eyes I need.
After that I think I'll do their PCs, a Ronso Monk and a Mithra Dragoon, then maybe move onto Goblins or maybe a Coeurl.

Too bad you weren't doing a table game. While people tend to shy away from building miniature sets, people forgot it's the imagination that carries the role playing.
This set is a perfect example, simple yet works....
On the other hand, drawing it out makes it really easy to immediately reflect changes to things like characters and maps so it's not all bad.

If they're going to go through that much trouble there's no reason they couldn't just give the current game an upgrade.

Can get arduinos for a good bit cheaper. Could skip it entirely if you want to just burn a chip with the code, depending how many you want to make (a pack of the chips is dirt cheap).
