Been a while since I played 7 but I think I would farm AP outside Mideel. From Head Hunters.

Outside Mideel and movers were about the best AP, the only reason I stated for the ship is this:

But if EVERYTHING goes to a source and you don't get AP that way (unsure, been too long) then it's moot.

I've always wanted to go back and do it again and get the stats, also do a full 8 run, and X like that (basically did on the first US release, want to do with PC (internationa), as well as a legit E2 run in 9 (then patch it in because there's no NG+). But really I've just migrated my apparent love of grinding, and probably why I haven't been able to sink my teeth into another title since I started XI.

just tried a nashville hot chicken pizza. had pickles on it. weird, but good. they also give sour cream on the side with their pizza... weird.

one more hour, and i saved the most boring part of the day for last. fuuuuuck me. ok one hour then loud music and dance times.

Well yea, magic pots in the northern crater are better for ap farming specifically. But if you are going to go start farming then you will still be getting some ap. Mine as well let that actually go to something rather then waiting until all materia is mastered and then doing it. Of course by that point... you may not care lol



I had one file when i was a kid when we lost our house; most everything was packed up, but i kept my ps and tv out. But i only had disk 1 of ff7. And i was up to the temple of the ancients, the end of disk one right after that. So i had nothing to do but just grind away. Got all the kills for limit breaks, i had multiple masters of every materia i had at that point. I was waaaay over powered. - Which is amusing because my very first file i was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay under leveled, equiped, and materia'ed for the final boss (was also in elementary school, very young). It took months or more of trying, different strategies, and just luck (damn super nova!) to finally win lol.

not sure if i should load a ps copy up on my ps2, or on vita... :/ (dont have ps3 or p4)

edit: actually i dont even have a ps copy :( I have copies of all the other numbers up to 13/14 but not 7.. the one i like the most. :/
I did have a copy from psn tho when i tried on my psp. Maybe thats still active if i can remember the account info, and dl it to vita.

i just try to see the lowest level i can beat emerald at anymore. everything else is pretty much cheese.

i remember the first time i beat emerald. It kicked my *** constantly. So i was fighting him jsut for the hell of it in front of some guy i barely new. Wasnt giving it to much thought. New i would lose and didnt care. ... and then suddenly... it fades red and dies! I was shocked, thrilled, and yet pissed off all at the same time. THAT had to be the time i finally beat him for the first time. When i wasnt even giving a damn... really?

I'd say patched PC copy, but I'd just load the Playstation version up on an emulator, if you need the .iso files shoot me a PM.

never played 7 on pc actually. Also never rly played on emulators either :/

emerald is cheese as in, "there is a strat to beat him". everything else is either 1 kotr, or is ruby which you can just kotr > hades over and over without it ever waking up. it's 27 mins of kotr and hades sleeping ruby.

I don't really recommend the first, but the second, yes.


Even without that he's easy as hell. KOTR will get yourself Ultima'd though, unless that Hades bit blocks that, if so cool, never bothered.

Assuming he means in their area's lot, in which case most lots are private, and even some roads are private.
