To get to the point: you have to do it "right."

There's some customized files based on the install, you can't copy those over or it when you do a full file check it will trigger a huge download. I forget the exact method to remedy this, fortunately a fresh install from POL.com now is a shorter update than it used to be, but can still take awhile.

Unless things change at M$ 10 will be the last operating system you ever need. *rolls eyes*

They're going to keep pushing until they require everything to be installed from the M$ store and it will be total ***, going to have to probably be always online and pay monthly as well.

I don't recall the gory details but basically there's a few files signed by a unique ID generated on install that when "plopped" over from another install *** ***up. But I don't know which ones, somebody else might.


Totes just made a pop for http://ffxiclopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Arch_Apocalyptic_Beast and died at 2%...
