Been working and after work the last few weeks been working at my manager/friend's mother's house. He just lost his father recently and we have been rebuilding decks, rooms and working in the garage to help her get things straighten up.
IF anything, lately I would say I am atleast a level 20 woodworking...if I get time this weekend I am going to get a good pallet from my friends work and do this project. There's so many projects online but this one is useful to hold condiments and beers..

Rain would totally get me out of commitments I've made this weekend but don't really want to attend. I'll take all the bad weather you can whip up on Lake Erie stat.
Well, tbh, it's not that I don't want to do what I signed up for, but I don't want to do it this weekend. I've been go go go all month and I'm really spent and this weekend isn't going to be any different.

Found out last night, that my dad was diagnosed on Monday with an aggressive form of Leukemia.
My mom said he starts chemo next week, but given how aggressive it is, doctors aren't sure it'll help in the slightest.
At most, considering his age, he'll have 8-10 months tops, but predicted worst case scenario is 4-5 months.
It's also when I got the news, that I found out what a horrible person I was. In all honesty, I was more worried about my mom having to deal with the repercussions and everything else that will be involved during and after everything happens.
Because of the past I would rather forget with my father, I felt rather indifferent. I mean, I wouldn't wish this kind of thing on anyone, but one of the first thoughts on my mind was "Karma's a ***, ain't it you old ***?"
