Batman: TAS, particularly, set a bar in animation, like that was half the goal of the show. Yeah there was decent/good plot the characters actually had 5 fingers.

Or you could watch something that's well-made and current.
There are about a billion out there, animated and otherwise.
You don't need to watch what were essentially 22 minute toy commercials as an adult.
I'm telling you from experience, leave it in the past and enjoy the nostalgia. It's better that way.

I've actually read artists' studies on this as well as observed anecdotal discussions. Characters so frequently have fewer fingers in animation because it somewhat paradoxically looks more normal. When you give them five fingers it gets creepy sometimes.
have to enjoy a show for what it is, not for what it is based on, and not by comparison to others. really takes enjoyment to the ground.
also, any scene out of context can be made seem stupid, especially if you are already having negative thoughts about a show.

I've read this before as well. Most beginning artists also find the hand notoriously difficult to draw.
Interesting fact you may not know: God in the Simpsons has 4 fingers and a thumb.

In Italy everything is dubbed. Film very well, anime...hit and miss(often overdone imo).

I've watched dubs before, veeeeeery few I could stand (DBZ, Trigun and a few others)
The only stuff I can dubbed is old Disney movies and series, they used to be very high quality in Sweden.
