But really, I have Mission Mojave, and I know there's another bug patch out there. Not sure if I should use them concurrently or not, but I dunno. It's just like every now and then the sound glitches and repeats like a half a second soundbyte, and the entire system locks up. You can tab back out to windows, but you can't actually do anything because the game still "covers" the screen, even if you're tabbed out. Windows+D does nothing, you can't even open the task manager (well, you can open it, but you can't see it to do anything with it) and I end up restarting from the alt+ctrl+delete screen.
Also... I just love staring at Geralt, he's my lara croft ~giggles~
Yeah. I'm pretty sure he's setting the bar unrealistically high for me in my wife's eyes.
Though in fairness, it's probably my fault, as his character is basically what I was always sort of RP'ing in the first place for the past twenty years, so...
Well tbh I read the books on which the witcher are based, with that in the back of my head when I play it gets kind of immersive. Now someone needs to start writing some erotic books with Geralt in the main role and Im the first in line to buy them!

FNV4GB is a tool to load Fallout New Vegas with the Large Address Aware
executable flag set so the entire 4GB Virtual Memory Address Space can be used
by the game. This is useful when using lots of mods.
Also, the thing about The Witcher games for me is...
...I'm having a hard time enjoying other games now. They're just not as good. So I'm playing a lot of lootfests because story isn't important.
Diablo 3, Borderlands, Fallout.
Actually started playing Fallout New Vegas again but even with patch mods the *** game still crashes horribly sometimes and it makes me furious.
*** hell. Everyone loves NV so much, and I have good memories myself, but that's so tempered with such strong hate for its crashing tendencies...
Meh I liked fallout 3 more then New Vegas, never had crash issues with it though.
I also got Pillars of Eternity this last sale and really enjoying that one too, its like playing Baldur's Gate but with a more streamlined story.
Oh and I got Life is Strange too.
To think I've got a loan to think of lol... oh I hate Steam.

Books are solid. And seem (to me) to be a clear dividing point between fans who understand the whole story with Geralt and his romances. Because book readers generally understand the complicated love with Yen aspect, and fangirls who have only played the games seem to prefer Triss not understanding how much of a manipulative *** she is...

Got PLD to 99 (was at 0), got THF to 99 (was at 1), got Aegis to stage 3 (was at "Get The *** To Dynamis Jeuno And Get That Damn Relic Shield You Scrub" stage).
...should do some crafting with the double synth rate....

You did that all in 3 days, you beast! :p
Well, it helps when you have the exp chain campaign going on. Also, had subs done for other jobs.
15k per kill kindof helps the speed go along pretty fast. PLD went from 1 to 49 in about an hour.
Fun Fact: In the Chernobyl nuclear power plant there exists a mass of radioactive material that resulted from the literal meltdown of the reactor core called the "Elephant's Foot". This mass is so radioactive that you can't actually approach it or you die within about 40 hours after exposure.
Samples of the mass have been collected. How? By shooting at it with an AK-47 and pulling the small chunks closer with a really long stick.

This actually worked.
Once again proving the Americans right in that you can solve most problems by shooting them.
Nothing quite like cancelling an appointment because they want 800$ down.
Last time I went there, I had to drop 185 just to see the doctor for 2 minutes. *** healthcare in America.
Going to the dentist with my daughter tomorrow, last minute appointment made today. Going to pay €60~ of which I get €35~ back. We have good healthcare but we pay high taxes. Althought apparently its getting harder to provide basic healthcare for certain lower incomes (thinking unemployed single mothers, retired widows, long time unemployed)
Schools here will do weird things with teacher hours to make it so they don't get full (sometimes any) benefits.
Shorter class periods and more periods that are study halls where 1 TA watches 3 classes worth of kids to cut into those teachers active teaching hours... etc etc
Heard a lot of bitching while I was fixing computers last year.
I think I am... I recall that option. I don't know how in depth it is, though.
Hrrk.
A provider wanting $800 down for a visit better mean you're getting treatment from a pretty legit doctor. Most doctors like that don't even take insurance. Meaning they're pretty in demand with rich folk.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
