Sad story, years ago I was quiting my job and came across someone at a corner. I gave the guy some money and said sorry all I had was change, the person said hey I know you.
He was a kid that used to live near me like 20 years ago. I quit my job, turned in my company truck and walked two miles back, gave him $40 and bought him lunch at Subway.
We talked for a bit, told me what happened to him and got on a bus and that was the last I saw of him. Drugs can seriously screw up someone's life, where family would help him but didn't want him to live under their roof.
As all my stories start;
I have a cousin who went from having a big house, a bunch of classic muscle cars, motorcycles, and a rich wife to living alone in a shady apartment because of drugs.
