Random Thoughts.....What are you thinking?
Also this for future re-use
I forgot how old she looked in the original
I never played that game, though a friend of mine in the Navy told me the whole plot synopsis one time while we were standing watch.
I was going to post this last night, ended up going to sleep, and I'm sure the trailer was posted already... but, I really love how he did this intro. He gave Hideo Kojima such an emotional but respectful introduction, I really enjoyed watching it. The trailer is obviously crazy and good, but that love! I can't help but to love watching it.

Waiting for gameplay to be shown before I get hyped.
Loving the theme and aesthetic though. Even if I never play it, I'll definitely be watching it. I'll probably buy it just because its Kojima, and the first thing he's doing after everything that happened. Would probably take a lot to make me not want to buy it at this point.
I'm all for the "stop preordering games" you have no idea about, but for this I've made an exception. Bismarck.Magnuss said: » That's a shame. If you have to put A1 on a steak, then it wasn't made properly. To each their own, I had a great steak tonight that didn't need anymore seasoning, but I chose to use some here and there. Also the potato was much better than the one in that picture would have been. I probably shouldn't have ordered a porterhouse, but it's not like I ate the whole thing when I was there, I did take most of it home. Anna Ruthven said: » Both look good to me. Well you also eat deer, so I imagine it does. Asura.Vienner

No. Thats not what i meant. When game is shot they let it hang at the ... english word... the meat distributor... so it develops taste. They do it with all game.
There's venison and... venison. Think new zealand is the biggest exporter of venison but its not fully "wild" they put feeding in the woods etc. Help mother nature a bit you could say and it does affect taste. Im not saying if you freshly shoot a deer in the woods and cook it within a day although even then hunters would let it hang for a while to drain the blood. Elk is the best I've hard. Elk and Buffalo.
We let our deer hang overnight and it is skinned and goes to the processor the next day. I haven't had venison in forever. I've been in the desert for too long. Asura.Vienner

If i ate meat, id go for iberico porc tbh, a nice piece of pluma... but no... lentils are my meat.
no you don't let a deer hang (unless it's the proper climate) if you're preparing it properly. if you want to have the highest quality meat you can get, you want to remove the hide and viscera then get the meat on ice as fast as possible because not properly cleaning the meat or letting it remain warm is the best way to get venison that tastes like ***.
can also be an unclean kill which also greatly affects the quality of the meat, the longer it takes the animal to die the longer you're letting acids build in its meat. The only time you can dress the deer and leave it hanging overnight is when the weather is cold, but if it's warm weather then leaving it out to hang is doing way more harm than good. the whole process of dressing the deer, cutting up the meat, and getting it chilled should take an hour or less. this is why so many people think venison is a bad meat, it's often not handled properly. it's a very fragile meat, but as long as it's prepared properly to be cooked and the animal was of a healthy age (old deer are much less edible than younger and middle aged ones, though I would never advise killing a young buck) you're going to have a nice meal. Here we can only get new zealand venison, we barely have deer running around through the couple of trees we have. Power to you Americans with your real trees and deer.
Still people like venison mostly cause its tender. Valefor.Prothescar said: » no you don't let a deer hang (unless it's the proper climate) yeah mid 30s is fine, anything higher... you're in the danger zone. it rots very, very quickly,
and even if it's being frozen and shipped over to another country, properly prepared and cooked venison shouldnt have the same problems that i often see people complaining about. freezing the meat is fine, within reason. it's the time between the kill and storage of the meat that has the most impact outside of the way that it's prepared for eating. also meant to be eaten lean, not with fat globs dripping off of it, deer fat tastes awful. Last year we had one night that was like 24 degrees...and the fire wood we had wouldn't burn. Fire went out about 11 PM, we were in an army tent with wood burning stove. The moisture from our breath frosted the ceiling of the tent. My dad got up about 4:30 AM and lit a backup propane heater and the frost started to melt.
My brother started bitching, claiming the tent was "leaking". THERE WAS NO RAIN! Psh, you "hunters" and your venison!
