I like using the traps to our advantage (this one gives pacification (no skills) and silence)



Normally you can't see them but if you use a PotD item you can

The landmine is very useful with Hallowed Ground (Invincible) to clear out a large room, you just gather the mobs, maybe pop a witching pomander (turns them into tiny harmless mobs) and then trigger the landmine to lower them all to 10%

Not really good to do at 170+ though with how hard the mobs hit (gorilla 1 shotted Shiggles when he aggro'd lol)


Mob spawner can be a pain, enervation too (damage taken up, damage dealt down)


Floors can also have status effects like Haste, HP/MP up, HP/MP down, Gloom (enemies are faster, deal more damage, take less damage and gives a nice red misty look to the floor)






It's a bit like Nyzul but I like it more because it has a lot of different looking floors

The frog is funny tho.

I hate getting tanks/dps/healers in floors 51+ who are still way down at +15 to their aetherpool stats.

If the gorillas eat the bananas, do not engage. I was one shot on Warrior last night lol.

I wait for it to wear off but Shiggles had lower aetherpool, he was in his 70s or something when we were all capped so he got 1 shot by a browbeat (gorilla had no buff)

Ah yeah, that would do it. Kali with 99/99 was almost killed by buffless browbeat. Squishy BRD.

I don't remember which floor it was exactly, but we port in, run one way towards a gold chest, Rage Pomander. We use them only as we find them after we get 3/3, so I raged it up. There was like 6 Harambes beating their chest at the top, surrounded by pink Zu, and other birds. I start beating my way through them, and thank goodness Blanche had my back, because the chest beating debuff got up to 8 stacks, and I nearly died lol. I got down to like 220/31k HP lol.

If we have a rage I use it on a new floor just to speed it up but I think we'll save some for 170+ next time we're going through 161-170

Best scenario for a rage pommander.

use the sight pommander, reveal the map. If it's three rooms, save the rage. If it's one of the big ones, use it and just carve through the mobs as fast as you can

Before 170 it doesn't really matter when you use them imo, just go on a new floor

It's after that when stuff just hits so damn hard

But yeah if it's 3 rooms after a sight I typically won't use it

Sometimes you end up with 3 rooms after using a rage though lol, I don't scout ahead or anything, it just takes time

I'm not gonna use alterations much anymore, I keep getting mimics instead of mandragoras

Did a run yesterday and pox'd 3 people because I pulled the mimics trying to get a chest lol, right before 100 boss

Yeah, Alterations are really only useful for 1 to 50, because there's no real reason to risk a room of mimics if you aren't gonna get jack or ***(1 to 50 you get huge EXP for killing Mimics/Mandies). ***' Pox man. Not so bad to have on one person. Not even really that bad to have on two people.

But pox on everyone... yuck.

On SMN I can kill a mimic if I have aetherflow so it's not really a problem usually, this room had 4 of them though lol

It's fine if you have a rage too, you get more chests from them
