i had blonde hair until 18 months. it started turning brown and looked almost red, but has become darker and darker with age. my dad had a full head of white hair before 30. i'm not going to hit that, but i do have a few silver strands already.

Just...what the ***. Feeling really out of sorts today. That weird feeling people get in shitty Final Destination movies and say "I feel like I don't belong here" and then roller coasters and construction equipment starts attacking them.

In light of this, I don't know how to feel. It's a terrible disease that steals people from their loved ones and themselves despite their ongoing presence. Watched it eat away at my grandmother and it was...painful. To say the least. Somewhat serendipitously she was a huge fan of his and my love of his movies comes from her exposing me to them.

Real reason? Trunks' hair was always supposed to be the same colour as Bulma's. In the manga they were both purple, but the anime changed Bulma's hair to green/blue/everything in between, but kept Trunks' hair purple for some reason.
Toriyama has been trying to fix this for years, but since Toei wouldn't change Bulma's hair back to purple (except in the Path to Power OVA), he started drawing Trunks with blue hair instead (Kid Trunks has it in his Battle of Gods reference sheet for example).
Now, why did Toei finally give in now, but only with Future Trunks? Because if he's going to be sticking around as part of the main cast, he's going to need something to set him apart from main timeline Trunks if they ever do a timeskip.

And Vegeta has been the prince of all jobbers since Z. It's nothing new.

People are not rational beings. He's also a celebrity to which I suspect approximately ZERO of us had a personal relationship with. But he touched our lives, through his art he brought us together we people we do know and love, and now he's gone.

Just because he was old and it's not entirely unexpected doesn't lessen the blow significantly.

I've got another grandmother still alive and kickin' and living independently, getting things done. But she's also 88. Just knowing she's old and probably won't be around that much longer in the grand scheme (and she insists on bloody reminding me every time I see her) won't make it any easier when she passes.

She always had purple hair on the covers here so it confused me when I watched some of the anime as a kid

Went to a Cubs game last night, wild game, got home at 3 am. Maybe I should stop going to night games <.<

I have 20 Penguins games to attend this year. Mostly night games.
